if running to specific stores, then a crossbody with a card case is all i need.  bought a Rebecca Minkoff years ago at Nordstrom Rack and its with me all the time, no matte what bag i am using.... it contains:  d.l., c.c.'s insurance cards, costco & bj's cards.  i also carrry a V.B zip case, these are just great, so well made

i do not use the built in wallets on handbags.  i switch too often and its an inconvenience for me....

I have one of those little VB wallets in my Amazon cart as we speak. Do you put your keys on that key ring?

I like a full size, but slim profile wallet.

i do not use the key ring... i use it for my cash... it's lightweight and easy to get into.  and i love the 'lighten up' material - it's durable!!  much better than V.B. cotton.

I use a small PN accordian-style card case for a few cards, license, insurance card, and a little cash (folded bills). I love it - works great and is small, but holds more than enough for me. I only carry this cardcase, a little Honora bag that I use for lip gloss and extra house key, and my phone. The few very small things like breath mints always fit in one of the pockets in my bag. Call me a minimalist!

@fairydogmother I've tried the whole built in wallet thing but it just doesn't work for me unless I am going somewhere that I only need to take my driver's license, insurance card and 1 credit card.

Most of the time, I opt for a bag, usually a crossbody, that's big enough to hold my wallet, phone, hand sanitizer and keys.

I sometimes opt for a larger bag if I'm going somewhere to dinner or church.

In my working days I carried a full size wallet in a medium to large bag.

When I switched to smaller shoulder & crossbody bags I used to carry a small compact wallet, but even it took up too much space in smaller purses.

For several years now I've been using a very thin zip top pouch. I don't remember where I got it, but I know it was not designed to be used as a wallet. I can put cash, my ID, and a few credit cards in it. It is so small and slim that it leaves room in my small purse for other essentials.

I've used a small Coach card case for years. It even fits in my Coach wristlit.

I've been using a Lee Sands eelskin coin purse for a wallet for years.  Wore one out, got another!

Small, holds everything and easy to access!  Love it!

The only wallets I carried for years were nice ones DH gave me for gifts, usually D&B leather ones with the duck on them.

Then my bank card was compromised more than once.

I now carry an RFID Lug wallet - the original Rodeo. It holds everything I need, and I always have it, no matter what size bag I carry.  Smiley Happy
