I wonder about the deeply discounted items on Lug LIte.........I've purchased some small items.  Noticed that two different pattens of the same item are slightly different in size.

I think that's the chance a person has to take when ordering from a 3rd party seller. There are a lot of name brand watches, handbags, etc that are supposed to be genuine, but are fakes. Sometimes it's hard to know.

Like black market in the big cities where people spread out their wares on the sidewalks.

I just buy my Nash bags from QVC, HSN, Nash website, Dillards and Macy's.

They must be able to conact the vendors to pick up their items which are not "perfect" and get a reduced price.  My mother worked in the garment industry and when I would bring home an item of clothing, she would inspect the seams, binding, etc. and say --- they made a bundle off of this because it is a "second".  This is the term they used for items which were not perfectly sewn and had small flaws.  They would sell them off in batches or bundles much cheaper.  A lot of things with the so-called "flaws" are so small that you really don't see them unless you look closely and they mostly don't make much of a difference.

@smoochy  Although late to the party here, it was definitely not a dumb decision on your part. It appears that the Lug bags you purchased from eBay and Mercari should have been listed as having defects. Were you able to return them for a refund or credit?

My favorite Lug bag is the Carousel 2.0 crossbody, and I purchased four of them back in 2018 when they were still available at QVC. Now that they are discontinued, I still wanted to purchase two more, which I did on eBay. They are pictured below. I purchased them from two different Sellers, both bags listed in New condition, and each one just under $40.00.  Upon receiving, both were just as described and even had the white tie tags wrapped around the straps (shown in the photo below). The bag on the left was purchased last year, the bag on the right purchased last month.

There are good buys on Lug bags on eBay, and hope if you decide to purchase another Lug bag there that it will be a very good one.

there is a huge market of pallets of all kinds of merch available to buy 

I just can't figure out why Q sells current styles off in pallets vs. marking them down and selling on qvc,com

Sellers on EBay will usually buy pallets of merchandise from QVC, H SN, etc.  That merchandise is often factory seconds. Some of those defects are obvious but many times it's in very good to excellent condition.

I have purchased many items that were in very good condition. I only buy new items. I'm not interested in pre-owned.

Recently I purchased a Candace Cameron Bure blouse that was new from a seller on EBay. As soon as I opened the package I could see that there was a big hole in the front of the blouse. I took a photo of it and showed the seller. They gave me a refund and I didn't need to return it.

@MissRose722 Your carousel crossbody lug bags are very nice! I like the size of that purse, the colors and prints- you could rock those with a lot of different blouses and cute tops!

@SportyShorty07  Thanks so much for the compliment! They are indeed a great size, and I especially like the front zipped pocket as it fits most smartphones. And the prints do go with a lot of outfits!

@MissRose722  You're very welcome! The size and zip fronts look great! This would be perfect to wear day to night or even on vacation and it looks lightweight too- it wouldn't dig into the shoulders like other crossbodies.  I bet you look lovely in your outfits with your handbags! I'm going to paint my nails red tomorrow and I thought of the lovely Louis Vuitton purse that you bought in cerise red.
