I see a lot of people working. We have big glass windows across the front and the location is extremely popular.
It's easy to say I see more people in a normal week than a person not working outside the home would see in a month of going grocery shopping and medical appointments.

"Back in the day"
I remember pedal pushers as being the same length
as Capris shown today.
It makes sense to have called them pedal pushers because you could ride your bike and pedal well.
I have some quacker factory I got years ago that are capri/pedal pusher length.
They are so well made!

Not an issue for me.
All my pants end at my feet, and all my sleeves end at my wrists.

Strong feelings against wearing leggings as pants? I missed that memo.
I wear leggings with tunic sweaters (they cover my behind) and boots fairly often when I'm not in the mood for jeans. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout for the "you can't wear that because I don't like it!" police.

I grew up on a bicycle, wore pedal pushers all the time.
They fell right below the knee, were tight there and had an outside slit to make it easier to bend the knee. They were this short and tight to keep the pant hems from getting caught in the bike chain.
Capris were mid calf. Clam diggers were longer than capris.
Oh, Bermuda shorts were 9 inches long and usually fell just above the knee.
I see all these different opinions on what is what. Why did this change?

I remember and wore pedal pushers in the 50s. They were
created to be able to pedal a bicycle and not have your long pants get caught in the bicycle chain.
They were cute and stylish. I was about 8 or 9 years old and my pedal pushers were a chambray blue with a cute, rib length, bare midriff, matching top that had a Sailor collar. I loved that outfit.
By the way, I never rode a bike, but I liked my pedal pushers.
Girls also rolled their jeans to that length.

@Foxxee I just posted about wearing pedal pushers and how they were created for riding bikes. I liked wearing my pedal pushers, back in the 50s, but I never rode a bike.

@Sooner wrote:I am one of the shorter people here, but I will say I happily wear whatever length pants I want to and look FINE in them.
I wear them to look nice and be cooler and more comfortable in the boiling hot summers we have. In my life, thank goodness nobody is assessing me for how tall my pants make me look. I'm short--it's over. Wear pants that let you enjoy the summer!
@Sooner From one shorty to another, I loved your comment. Made me smile!

Many thanks! I also remember them in the movie Grease!
I remember my mother's reference to certain styles but can't quite remember her. I lost her around age 10; she passed when I was 16.
