IMG_4498.pngIMG_4500.png$149.98 on QVC and $79.00 on Amazon for the exact same thing. Even when it is full price on Amazon it is only $99. Come on QVC, at least come close to the same price. This is a total rip off. Apple doesn't even charge this.

That's why I do a Google search for anything I'm buying so I can find the best price.

Same reason Wal-Mart charges more on lots of their groceries compared to the grocery store? They don't have the lowest prices?

@Wolfpup721 And THAT is why we shop other places than Q. Q counts on the fact that not everyone does it.

It's up to each person to use their due diligence when shopping.

Just so you know, charging a higher price is NOT repeat NOT a "rip off." If people don't shop for better prices, that's on them.

@Wolfpup721

Are you SURE it is the exact same thing????

QVC

  • Includes Apple Pencil with Lightning adapter, USB-C-to-Pencil adapter, extra tip; charging stand and three silicone tips

Amz

Apple Pencil, Lightning adapter, extra tip, and USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter (required to pair and charge with 10th-generation iPad).

Doesn't look like you are getting the items I bolded with Amz

QVC often adds extras in their pack up resulting in a higher price.  Not saying the extras are needed or wanted but it often explains differences in pricing.

Maybe you can double check????

A quick check shows that an Apple Pencil charging stand is less than $15.00, and the silicone tips - the most expensive choice - are about $10.00 (although you can get 60 for $8!), so that $25 in accessories (more realistically about $16) is costing you a whopping $70.00.  QVC is definitetely not the best place to shop for electronics.

QVC doesn't say it's always the lowest price place to shop.  So, if you want to price shop that's fine.  They aren't ripping anyone off as they are charging what they charge and you pay it if you want to.  So you come to the forums to accuse QVC of "ripping customers off"?

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@Wolfpup721   Once you know Amazon can afford to charge less, why not just go there and spend your money?

@Wolfpup721 That's why I shopped and bought the Ninja Woodfire grill from Costco.  Granted it didn't come with the stand, but has everything else the QVC grill has.  Costco price $240, QVC $300.   Returns would be free and Costco's return window is much longer (almost indefinite) than QVC's 30 days or the end of Jan. if purchased during the Christmas season.
