Just start a new posts and word it : Update with your previous  topic. For example: Update on my phone. I hope this helps.

You can just edit your original post and add an update. Just click on the three little dots on the upper right corner of the post and hit edit. Just like you would if you were making corrections to a post.

Starting a new thread whenever an update is needed just ends up clogging up the index page.   Please just edit your current thread.
