I saw the titles but I didn't read the accompanying story.  It's too awful and upsetting and I just didn't want to know the details.  I wish I hadn't read your post but my common sense tells me they wanted more than tires.  They probably wanted whatever cash or jewelry those poor young men had on them.

I was wondering if the three men thought they could overtake these thieves. I would have let them have the truck and tires. Sometimes it is better to walk away then give up your life. So many sick people in the world who have no conscious. Sad they lost their lives to dirt bags.

I know some people love to travel, but I no longer want to go more than 200 miles from home. I feel so bad for those young men. Their families must be heartbroken after learning what happened.
