Re: Thoughts and Prayers for Charleston

In the same spirit as the 26 Acts of Kindness movement following the shooting in Newtown, CT, several years ago, I have started a FaceBook page to honor the lives of those lost in Charleston.
9 Days of Kindness is about remembering those lost in the shooting at the Charleston Emanuael AME church through acts of love and kindness.

Please join us as we strive to spread love not hate!

Re: Thoughts and Prayers for Charleston

I sent a donation to the church. They were in the midst of raising funds to add an elevator. Many worshipers are older and handicapped and they need access to their historic church.

I felt like I HAD to do something positive.

The killer thought he was starting a new Civil War...instead he may have inadvertently brought people TOGETHER!

Here's what I don't get. Why do we change history because of one insane person. How about the rest of us? Scarlett would NOT be pleased.
