I skip the holidays if I am too busy at work.  Once in a while, I just skip a year.  It's a treat for me when I have the time, though.  I enjoy them. 

 

I like the giving gifts thing, which is mostly long-distance as I don't live near my siblings.  It's nice to touch base at least once a year.
