I plan to drop my Prime subscription.  Are there other ways to get free reads on your Kindle?  Mine is an old model Kindle Fire.

I get tons of kindle books thru my library website....no charge

@PilatesLover, have you explored accessing books from your local library? I know the the Libby app (library audio and ebook app) isn't available for the Kindle, but I believe there is some sort of workaround. Your library may have the info on their website, or they may be able to assist you.

Libby through my library is how I get books on my Kindle. It's five years old and still works good.

If you just search free kindle books on Amazon, there are plenty there for the taking.

When I checked it out a few  onths ago you don't need Prime for Kindle books or Kindle Unlimited.

there is a little thing called a search bar. just type in free. smh
