Cost Comparison of SHP.......

Hi Wen Lovers,

I have been using WEN for almost eight years, primarily LAV CC. I have also used various WEN products with different TSV/OTO values. I bought a gallon of BGT last month and love it.

My hair is medium-coarse curly/wavy. The length is now to my shoulders if I blow dry/flat iron. Also when I go with a sleek (vs. curly) style, the texture becomes more medium as the styling takes out the coarse texture! Every 12 weeks I get highlights and lowlights, at the 6 week marker, I just get the grey hair covered with the highlight color. I have done this for years because I do not want to go grey just yet.

I haven't bought the seasonals for the past year or so because I had too much WEN CC, but I was hooked on SHP from the OTO 3-piece set.

I also am a first time treatment oil user. Just after 2-3 overnight uses of SHP oil, my hair is responding with a thicker and softer style.

I decided to stock up on SHP (wanted the CC and the oil).

Here is the price breakdown of various SHP configurations:

4 oz. oil: total would be $57.65 (s/h= $6.19, tax=$2.34)

4 sets of 16 oz. CC: $127.73 (merchandise total=$107.00, s/h=$15.55. tax=$5.18)

4 sets of 3 piece SHP (16 oz. CC, 1 oz. oil, 2 oz. RTM): $184.10 (159.84 merchandise total, s/h = $16.80, tax= $7.46)

Stay with me now....if you add the above CC total for $127.73+ 4 oz. oil total above for $57.65 this = $185.38

So for $1.28 less, you can have the bonus of the four 2 oz. RTM!

Thanks, that is great information! I was planning on stocking up on the SHP, it sounds like the kit is the best way to go.

You are welcome BEexplorer! The SHP has to be it for the rest of the year. Except for the OTO tonight!

You are welcome! I had to stock up on my favorite before I got side-tracked and missed the gem.

Before you know it, the FAS will be here and the SHP will be gone!

Thanks for the breakdown. I just knocked over my SHP oil that came with my OTO set this morning. :-( I was trying to decide how I wanted to replace it since I could only salvage a little bit. I really like SHP & may want order more.

On no! That happened to me one time with Tarte Maracuja oil. The bottle slipped out of my hand, fell to the granite tile, and then broke. I was close to tears. I wrapped a hair elastic around it and it helps me get a grip, avoid the slip!

I keep my 4 oz. bottle of SHP in a short glass when I use it to keep this disaster from happening.

If you still have the bottle, you could refill it with the smaller plastic bottles, or just be safe and use the plastic.

I find however that the plastic 1 oz. bottles of oil are light and therefore easy to knock over as well!
