Yes, sadly other brands too use sulfates like Perlier, Korres, unless it is labeled as Clean Beauty it most likely is not.  Perlier uses artificial dyes, Korres does not.

@Sooner   Ivory soap was the only hand/bath soap in our house when I was growing up. but now with the exception of handwashing some lingerie, I use no Ivory.  My skin hates it - and the dermatologist suggested it's much too drying fordirect use my old skin.

I do still use Purity on my face without any issues.  I did take a break and try several drugstore brands, but returned to Purity early this years.

@millieshops I have never used Ivory soap.  What I am using is the body wash, which as I said the one with the fewest ingedients has been great for us.  

I think we used Dial bars of soap growing, and some kind of deodoranat soap too.  Mother wouldn't buy Ivory (I wanted it to float!) because it left some scum in the water and was hard to clean out of the tub.  Possibly due to our water.

I can only use Dove sensitive bar soap. Everything else gives me a rash. Of course, I also have to use sensitive skin laundry detergent.
