Wondering about whether A/D stock is warehoused or new?

I have two different Philosophy layering sets on Auto-Delivery right now, one in Living Grace and one in Snow Angel from Christmas in July last year.  I just paused the next shipment on both of them because i have a backlog of product I wanted to use up first due to shelf life issues.  That got me wondering how the Q warehouses the A/D sets.   Are all the future shipments in a set put on a shelf somewhere when an order is made, or is fresh product acquired for subsequent shipments?  Does anyone know?  I looked back a couple years in the Philosophy forum, but didn't see this question. Thanks for any input!
