Philosophy Sweet Vanilla Fig, is it an over powering vanilla smell?  I read some reviews and some say it is  a "perfume" scent, but not heavy, I've read it smells florally, anything will help. Can you wear this scent in the summer?  When you read the description it says one thing, but on air is described differently. Thank you.

Keep in mind that all scent is subjective, so descriptions are going to vary.

I don't get much vanilla from Sweet Vanilla Fig. To me it's a warm, earthy scent that has some fig and smells mostly of sandalwood, which is why I think people describe it as more of a perfume scent. I would describe it as an earthy/woodsy fragrance.

Thank you.  I ordered the sweet vanilla fig.   I went to Ulta today to smell fresh cream and I do not like it at all. Too much vanilla for me.

Sounds like Philosophy has gone vanilla crazy.  My Coconut Splash TSV just came today and I swear there is no Coconut scent in it.  It's overwhelmingly vanilla.  I'm going to have to mix the scent in the soufflé cream with some unscented lotion cause it is very, very strong.  I just showered and used the shower gel and it's tolerable.  The spritz is ok.
