I've seen the catalog, but does anyone have inside info on other philosophy offerings such as shower gels?

I haven't gotten my catalog yet.  usually this stuff leaks out from the store reps pretty early on.

I don't have a Nordstrom's near me.....do they have the same deals online? I've never ordered from them but I keep hearing about their great sales.  Any info would be appreciated!! TIA!

Yes, they have the same deals online. If you're not on their mailing lists, get on the list to get catalog in email or in the US mail.
