I ❤️ the cloud cream and want to buy one of the 16 oz bottles on sale.  I don't know if I should get Snow Angel or Sweet Vanilla Fig.  Between those two scents, which is your favorite & why?

I've used Snow Angel Shower gel and ❤️ it, but have yet to try Sweet Vanilla Fig.

I would love to get your input!

Re: Cloud Cream - which scent?

I'd choose Snow Angel. It's such a refreshing scent. I personally don't like anything in vanilla fig. I like vanilla, but the fig ruins it for me. The worst vanilla fig scent, however, is the one from Josie Maren. I can't imagine anybody thinking that it smells good. At the end of the day, of course, it just boils down to personal preference.

@Goldengate8361

Thank you!  That is VERY useful feedback! I, too, love Vanilla, but I was wondering if it would be too "figgy".  You answered my question.  Snow Angel it is!  I love that scent so much!!

Re: Cloud Cream - which scent?

@SurferWifeI have a question for you, tangential to scent.  I have used Philosophy body souffle for years, is the cloud cream more moisturizing than that?  TIA!

@CamilleP

Unfortunately I can't describe the difference between the soufflé and the cloud cream. A few years back I tried one of the other Philosophy body creams but since they have several different forumulations, I honestly don't remember which one it was (it came with the Basil Cucumber Cooler shower gel), but I remember it wasn't as moisturizing as I prefer, so I never re-ordered.  However, the cloud cream is moisturizing on my dry skin, so it is one that I'll reorder.  It's lightweight so I can get dressed immediately after applying & my skin stays soft all day.

Sorry I couldn't specifically compare the two, but maybe some other Philosphy ladies can.

@FlyersGirl -- any thoughts?

Re: Cloud Cream - which scent?

[ Edited ]

Thanks, @SurferWife   I am trying to gradually find substitutes for Chaz's NIBT, which I became allergic to after a few months of use. That Arnica montana might be a great ingredient and do wonderful things for lots of users, but to me, it became a powerful allergen.  Mostly I am using Josie Maran (peppermint bark as a dupe for WVM) and Trader Joe's pumpkin butter (dupe for FGP), and I love Philosophy Marzipan Dreams, but the body souffle is not as moisturizing, so I'd like to find a "juicier" product I can get in scents like Pure Grace, my #1 fragrance.  I will start hunting for Cloud Cream in fragrances I like, thank you!

ETA:  I searched and found a 16oz duo in Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere on sale and free shipping, so I ordered it.  I love that scent, it reminds me of Chaz's "Hope".  Thanks again, @SurferWife !

Re: Cloud Cream - which scent?

@CamilleP

I ❤️ Chaz's Hope fragrance!  I'm about to run out of my Hope UNIBT.  I should have thought earlier to compare Cloud Cream to Chaz's UNIBT.  Cloud Cream is a lighter texture than UNIBT.  Although UNIBT is my numero uno favorite body treatment, Philosophy's Cloud Cream has become my second favorite.  I switch out between the two during the week.  Whichever jar my hand goes to is the one I use, but either one, I find my skin to feel hydrated all day.  I do like to add a few drops of Chaz's treatment oil to either cream.  It's been a habit for years & I just do it.

Re: Cloud Cream - which scent?

I am planning to mix some of the seasonal oils into small amounts of unscented argan body butter, @SurferWife , in order to mimic the UNIBT I can't use any more.  This time of year, in western Oregon, my skin needs all the moisture it can get.  Thanks for the info, again, I'm looking forward to that Warm Cashmere scent arriving, it's so warm and lucious!
