Bill and I had the ultimate gift of being hosted by our dear friends along the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Mario is native to the area and he and his wife Branka were so passionate about the places they would introduce us to. We spent time exploring Ischia, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, each with its unique charm and beauty. Needless to say, we were inspired by the places we visited, but also by the delightful people we are blessed to call our dear friends. Upon our return home, Bill and I immediately collaborated with our design team on these inspired collections, celebrating this amazing part of our world. This year, rather than presenting our Today’s Special Value in celebration of this great American holiday ONLY on July 4^th, we are kicking things off with Rick Domeier at 10pm ET on July 3^rd, and celebrating ALL the way through July 8^th!!

This is my favorite season for entertaining, so it has been especially frustrating to be in the chaos of a kitchen remodel for the past two months! As soon as we could, Bill and I threw a dinner party.

I love autumn anywhere, but here in Albuquerque it is especially magical! Hundreds of thousands of people agree, as they come from around the world to attend the largest hot air balloon event in the world, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Nothing makes a staycation extra special like a visit from your daughter and grandchildren!  Tiffany brought Easter and Ivo for their first summer vacation along the Turquoise Trail!  Bill and I were so excited to explore all of the fun right in our neck of the woods! Read more here > 

Over the years, Bill and I have travelled with our collectors across America, capturing video and wonderful memories along the way.  Each year, we seem to get a little (or maybe a LOT) busier and, yes, a little older too. The summer just seems to get away from us without making time for another great American vacation.  So while a little bit of summer remains, Bill and I have decided to make the most of the beauty in our own backyard. Happy Fourth of July!

This is my favorite national holiday for many reasons.  I am so proud to be an American, and have definitely benefited from the freedoms and opportunities our country provides.
