Do you love pork chops but find it's hit or miss?  Sometimes they come out dry or chewy. I tried this recipe for pressure cooker pork chops and gravy and I thought they were delicious!!  Of course I think gravy should considered a side dish.

The Philadelphia Car Show was this past weekend and was a family affair.  James, Lauren, Chelsea and my mother-in-law Gloria went with us.  Have you ever been to a car show?  Well, when we opened the doors to walk in we were almost blinded by the shiny polished finish on the cars.  It's no wonder people walk out of there and go directly to a dealership and buy a new car!

I needed something quick and satisfying for dinner tonight. I am doing an early bird special so I can take a quick nap before joining you tonight at midnight.  Enjoy the recipe!

It IS easy being green!  This is so yummy and sooooo easy.  I needed some comfort food and I didn't want to spend the entire day in the kitchen so...slow cooker to the rescue.

Today is the dreaded day...time to take down the Christmas decorations. Thought I would share some of the memories we made at Lauren & Chelsea's first year hosting Christmas Eve dinner. 

It is now 10 days until Christmas and I can't wait!!  I am so excited to see my loved ones reaction when they open their gifts!  Our house is decorated and ready for the crowd.  But I still need to do the 10 second tidy....will wait until next week to do that.  Here is a look at our home for Christmas! I love restoring old pieces. It was so much fun working together with my family on this project.  Team work makes the dream work! 

Do you need a yummy recipe that taste good and is easy to make?

My mother was an excellent cook.  She made the most delicious cream turkey every year with the leftover Thanksgiving turkey.  Unfortunately she didn't use recipes. She was a little bit of that and a touch of this kind of cook.  I learned by watching her.  My creamed turkey was pretty tasty but not as good as my moms.  It is true what they say, it tastes better when mom makes it.  Ironically my daughters are now using that same line on me.
