~ will this ever heal? ~

I just got back from P.T. ...... my knee is really hurting me in the area where he repaired the muscle or ligament. Coming up steps is really rough and I live in a 2nd floor condo, so each time I walk my pup I have to go down and up. The last thing they do is electrical stimulation with an ice pack over it. Before I left the head P.T. asked if I'd like her to wrap my knee because it's still very swollen. So she did and told me to put ice on it and take a Vicodin. She said to keep it wrapped for several days to help the swelling go down. I know it's only been 2 weeks since I had the surgery, but I guess I'm worried that it will never be right again.
