I had a mini knee surgery 2 weeks ago. It is doing very well and I am happy about the result. However I have developed a terrible (10 ) pain going down my shin below the surgery. Don't exactly know what it is but it is preventing me being able to do some of my exercises. My hubby thinks maybe it is "shin splints" from all the stretching exercises I do. PT is coming tomarrow then Dr Tues Morning but in the meantime I am taking pain med and iceing it. Anyone ever had "shin splints" ? Can you describe that to me? It is definately not infection or a clot as it is NOT red or blanched or hot or swollen or draining anywhere. Just a terrible pain to even the slightest touch or when I exercise or put weight on the foot. Just when I thought I was going to sail right through this surgery.
