@GingerHead , I wanted to thank you for making me aware of the heartbeat or pulse noise that I was hearing in my head. I did go to the doctor (finally and) he got me in for a brain/head MRI today and I do have a small aneurysm in my brain. Anyhow, thank you so much. Will wait for the doctor to call and let me know what they want to do at this point.

@catter70 I didn't see your original post but am so glad @GingerHead gave you excellent advice.

I have several unruptured aneurysms that I became aware of after I had a ruptured brain aneursym (which I didn't know I had). I've been having them monitored and have had no issues iand it's been almost 10 years. Knowing that you have one makes all the difference and you will be well taken care of medically. God bless.

I know people that have had them clipped prior to them causing any issues, very simple procedure, they do it thru the groin.

@Shelbelle  What is "them'? The OP wrote about aneurysms in the brain.

@Shelbelle : Where are these aneurysms that are clipped by going thorough the groin? Sounds more like they are abdominal aneurysms rather than in the brain.

@Q-Checker I believe the poster is referring to aneurysms.

@patbz Testing (such as a cerebral angiogram) and surgery for brain aneurysms are done by inserting a catheter through the groin that travels up to the blood vessels to see and assess their status. I know that some cerebral angiograms are now done through the arm but all the ones I've had went through the groin.
