@pitdakota- or any nurses- a question

[ Edited ]

Hi @pitdakota!

Could you tell me what this means (when looking up how long a drug remains in the system after discontinuing).

It has a half life of 6 hours (I get that)

and 47L/hours. What does that mean?

I'm asking for my mother and I also understand that in the elderly it often takes longer for a drug to completely clear the system.

Thank you so much!

@deb5555,

Aren't pharmacists great?

Got the answer.

47 liters per hour basically

(and really not needed to know anyway, half life is what is important).

Thanks again!
