Here is a reply I left for you on the Electronics Forum. Don't see you there often, so I thought I would post it again here for you, and it might help others here that are not aware of how most of the newer electronic devices can many times be fixed by doing this simple step.

Is it dead for sure or should I spend money to get it evaluated at the computer hospital. Honestly, I think computers should come with health insurance. They want $100 just to look at it and say if it can be saved or not.
With any and ALL electronic equipment the first thing to do when something is not right is this:
Turn in off for a minute or so, then turn it back on. Many of the newer electronic devices "reset" themselves when turned off, or with computers, "rebooted". Some electronics have to be "unplugged" from the electrical outlet as turning them off does not completely send them to "reset".
