I'm 60, with anxiety disorder and depression since childhood. I am also the 24/7 caregiver for my 92yo mother w/advanced alz.I have always had a problem with stress, I never should have been c.giver, but no one else would, and when mom moved in 9yr. ago she was fine. Over the past weeks, I would leave the water running,stove on,find the plastic wrap in the fridge.I went to the Dr , aced the memory test, except for the 4 words she told me at the beginning and asked me later to repeat, I only got one and had NO idea what the others were! It has really upset me. She said because I am placing my mom after the holidays and I not sleeping well, we would keep an eye on it. I also started buspar meds. right before this began. ???
