Have any one heard of Laser dentistry? If you feel that this treatment is an advanced wing of cosmetic dentistry then you are mistaken. It was first introduced more than 24 years before in 1990s. When I did my full mouth rehabilitation from a dentist at Toronto,he told me about this.If we use lasers we wont feel much pain or discomfort during the process of certain dental treatments .But we cant use laser for all dental treatments.

I too wonder why laser dentistry is not used in the US as much as in Canada & Europe. I looked for a dentist years ago that used lasers because it was fast & easy and could not find one. Now they all advertise having anesthesia while you have work done. Come on USA and get the lasers working! Is it too much to ask for pain free dentistry!

Had an area inside the front cheek of my mouth that I kept catching on my tooth. It finally got so large that I went to the dentist. He used a laser to burn it out--no pain at all and the bump kept getting smaller until it totally disappeared. What a relief, I was afraid surgery was in order!
