hypothyroidism question

I was diagnosed with low thyroid about 9 years ago. I was given synthroid. I do not have a naturopath in my area. It is either mds or nurse practitioners. I am wondering if some of these other thyroid medicines would work better. Specifically the naturethroid, or the armor brand? Have any of you had better results with naturthroid than you did with sythroid? Thank you.
