I have floaters.  They are nothing to worry about. Just before Christmas I started seeing crescent shaped flashes on the side of my right eye.  Got into dr the next day.  It was nothing to worry about.  The dr did dilate my pupils to make sure I didn't have a tear in my retina or any other problem.  

 

All was was fine except for a slight change in my prescription....it was time for an exam anyway as it had been 3 yrs since my last exam.  

 

Go go see your dr it's probably nothing but you should be safe and check it out.  DW

When I went in to see my eye doctor about "floaters" ... she warned me about the flashes ... it could be an indication of a serious problem.

 

I wouldn't wait ... call the doctor.  It could be nothing, or could be something dire!
