~ dreading the drive ~

Hi everyone, especially those of you who have had a TKR. Tomorrow I'm supposed to leave for southwestern VA where my girls live to visit them. The weather here all week, and for days and days to come, has been awful, rain, rain rain, and my knees are really feeling it...... major OUCH. I've been taking bufferin and using ice, but not much helps except the Vicodin which I don't like to take. I know I'm going to have to stop about every 45 min. to get out and walk around or my knee will get stiff and ache.

I really want to see my kids, but I'm so much dreading the drive down there that I'd like to stay home. But, I'll get there .... sure would be nice to see the sun come out but it's not going to be for several days.
