anyone suffer with central obesity

i am so miserable with the size of my belly. i am petite, built small, thin legs, arms, with a girth of someone who is six months pregnant. i remember my mom had the same problem always having to do some sewing on her clothes to fit her waist. i really don't believe any of the ads on tv with miracle drugs to get rid of belly fat. just curious if anyone else suffers from this.
