after chemo hair question

Well, it's now been 7 months and except for the top, my hair is growing back. Still on armidex which slows hair growth. My hair is then, frizzy and fragile. I've been using Pantene. Not interested in Wen and had a hair trim to even things up. Any suggestions ? Will I always need to be gentle with my new hair?
