I just ditched my Garmin Vivofit for a series 4 Apple watch. Yes, the Garmin was less expensive and doesn't require daily re-charging. However; it did a terrible job of tracking activity, particularly in the water, which is roughly 50% of my excercise.

I have the tiny Fitbit Zip, that clips to my pant pocket.  It tells time, steps, calories burned and mileage.  Only issue is remembering to change it over if I wear different pants.  It's very simple and about $59.  no phone calls, no swimmming

Oh!  I tried the ones on sale at QVC and HSN and they both bothered my skin so I guess I can't wear anything around my wrist.  Too bad, because they were very cool and I LOVED them

@Helen Bach , I wonder if you are allergic to whatever they make them out of? At least you have the fitbit zip, that sounds like a nice alternative.

I haven't gotten anything yet. I'd like to go to a brick and mortar store to look, and just not sure when that may happen.
