Or essential oil? For muscle aches. (for my arm)

So far, I've used the Blue Emu, arnica and I would use rubbing alcohol if I had it.

For essential oil, I remember reading about peppermint, and I had this peppermint cream that did seem to help (for leg fatigue). But I am out of that, too!

Re: Your Favorite "Quack" Cream

I use a DMSO cream as a topical pain remedy. Sometimes I'll crush up an aspirin into a fine powder, using my mortar and pestle, then mix it into the cream for extra pain relief.

Re: Your Favorite "Quack" Cream

Cortisone 10.....OTC 1% cortisone cream. I use any variety of the cream for mild winter eczema and hives, usually on my hands and wrists. Use it only when my skin gets painful. More and more though with the new hand-washing regmine. Rub it in well and leave it on for 20 minutes or so. I have very sensitive skin and this is a heavy cream for me but probably not for most people, tho". It's pretty effective not 100% but gives some relief and healing.

Then I wash it off and apply my regular hand lotion......Baby Magic lotion by Mennen that I've used since high school. Only lotion that doesn't make me break out in little red itchy bumps.....I use this all over especially after showering.

I have a prescription cortisone cream (2%) which I use sparingly, too.

Re: Your Favorite "Quack" Cream

DH has a lot of pain and goes to a pain specialist. His favorite " go to" is China Gel, which is available in many different sizes on Amazon; DH buys it in the gallon size. All of us in my family use it occasionally and it does relieve muscle soreness but has a menthol smell.

I've tried many but Voltaren is the one I always go back to.

I don't think I have ever used anything for muscle pain.
