The other day I asked the Pharmacist at my drug store what women's multiple vitamin was both good and smaller. All of the ones I've taken, from the Health Food Store are practically horse pills. I don't have trouble swallowing pills usually, but these make me gag.
I asked the Pharmacist if there was iron in them and she said yes - 18 mg. - and you take 2 a day for the full effect. Well, I've always avoided vitamins with iron as I'm 67 and no longer need it. I got them, but am only taking 1 every other day (9 mg.), and on alternate days taking a "horse pill."
Can anyone give me the name of a good women's multiple, with no iron, that is not as giant size as usual?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
