Hi Ladies,
I belong to a gym and do 45+ of some kind of cardio 4-7 times/week. Of course, there are some weeks that aren't this great, but for the most part, I strive to include 45 minutes of cardio into my day. I also do some light weight training with free weights. I do a couple moves that a friend learned from a physical therapist after recovering from surgery. I also do squats with weights for my legs. All sounds great, right? But the problem is that I don't know if I'm doing the weights correctly. I'm doing pretty standard moves, basic bicep curls, etc. But I'm not sure what weight amount I should be lifting. I started with 5lb weights and now I try to use the 7.5lb. But I never see any changes. My arms still look, well, flabby. Am I doing this wrong?
Yes, my gym has a trainer I could meet with. And I may go that route and try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. However, I thought I'd check in here first and see if anyone has advice or tips.
TIA
