If I were taking tumeric, I'd be looking very carefully at all the details of these cases;  a 5% complication rate is discomforting and I'd want to know what it's most likely to combine with and cause those problems. 

 

As for that specifric woman -  wonder if any of her doctors had ever been aware she was taking so many meds and supplements.  Makes me wonder how much self-medification she was really doing.
