I live in Henderson NV where he makes his products.  I would suggest you go to his website Pro Caps and reach out to customer service to answer your questions.  I do use some of his products!

Calcium in the proper amount and the proper kinds wouldn't be able to be in a 1 capsule formula for anyone.  I take citrate form he tends to use a combo of the more difficult forms to absorb.  Also to get the required 1200mg's for bone health and being in meno it requires me to take 6 per day....I do it twice per day (lunch 3 and dinner 3) and also I take the smaller size ones as some out there are HUGE and I can't swallow them!

For me I did order his Essential 1 to try out and was very glad to see little to no calcium in it.  HTH

May I ask which calcium you take and which forms of calcium are better?

Thank you

Re: Why does Lessman Essential 1 only have 10% calcium

Calcium is bulky and not usually in multis in large amounts.

Each of us have to decide on vit D based our own medical needs and tests.

Carbonate is the type that is absorbed best.  Usually this what your dr will Rx although it is OTC too.  However this is known to upset some tummies.

Citrate is next best for absorption and it is easy to find OTC with or without other vit.

There are other kinds too and Procaps usually has an unspecified mix, often incorporating carbonate.

Just for me, I stick with citrate, spaced out over the day, and take vit D too.

@Valstybaby  hello since I was told I have osteopenia (not a diagnosis but just letting me know I have tiny bones) I began researching about bone health so hopefully I can not ever have to take medication for osteoporosis which I want to avoid getting if at all possible.

With that said I went to a forum on the osteoporosis foundation website and got lot's of great info there.  The best calcium for absorption actually is calcium hydroxyapatite.  I do take this also BUT for some reason it can make me feel dizzy so I only take a small amount of it and the rest of my capsules are citrate.  Most people do not have that reaction I have a serious ongoing problem with vertigo/dizziness so many meds or supplements give me trouble.  I purchased the brand name made by Vitacost....you get a good price on it and large supply.

My understanding is the least easiest to absorb for bone health is oxide and carbonate...sure there are others.

HTH

EDIT to ADD:  I also wanted to mention you should be taking K2 MK-4....this insures the calcium gets to the bones!  I do not agree with AL on the type his products offer either which is from soy (MK 7).  Again this was found during my research....I take Carlson brand and just one tiny capsule is 5mg's.

Also Magnesium Glyciante I take too....I know it's alot but my bones and not ever having hip or spine fractures is something that I want to avoid at all costs so it is worth to me.

Just curious where you got this definition of osteopenia.  Tiny bones?  I have osteopenia and have never been told I have tiny bones.  It means you have a lower bone density but not to the degree of osteoporsis.

Hi probably not the best description....but I have small bones wrist measurement is 5.5...not the more average 6.5 to 7.0.  It would be my description LOL!

Also being told I have osteopenia isn't a diagnosis that requires medication thur my research even though some doctors have put ladies on bone building drugs.  Better Bones has information explaining this I should have said slender instead of tiny.
