Why Am I So Impatient Lately?

Has anyone else every gone thru a brief time of being impatient and irritable all of the time? I am normally a very patient,easy going and congenial person but lately I am short with everyone, indecisive, unorganized,etc. I think it may be stress related but not sure. I made appointment with doctor to see if any underlying physical reasons.
