Do you know who is giving shots at pharmacies, grocery stores, and where else they are being given?

Do they require licenses?  What degree of training?  Anyone know?  I am just curious about this.

Should be a licensed board certified pharmacist at pharmacies. When i had my original shots in April at a mass site it was a nurse.

I received my Pfizer booster injection from the Walgreens pharmacist. I asked that question when I went to get the injection.  My initial vaccinations were given by a nurse. As a nurse I have been asked to come out of retirement to help with vaccinations  but I am committed to sitting with my grandson during virtual kindergarten.

Mine was from the pharmacist at the small independent pharmacy I went to for the booster.  She was better at it than the two nurses I had for the first two shots.

@Sooner Our whole family gets all our vaccines from the pharmacists at our local Safeway pharmacy. They are the best and know all of our family well.

They obviously know what they're doing so I really don't care.

In my local area of WV, shots are being given by hospital nurses, retired nurses, health center nurses, nursing students, and EMT/paramedics.

My last flu shot was given to me by a Walgreens pharmacy tech.

My first Covid shots were given by nurses.  Flu shot and Covid booster shots were given by pharmacists.

I had my shots at the hospital where there were nurses and doctors nearby in case a "situation" happened.

That's where I'm going for the booster.
