Re: Which Collagen Peptides are best? Andrew Lessman vs. Consult Beaute

 @Maestra1

For me, Marine peptides seem to be more immediately effective. It is more digestible.

My skin gets its “bounce” back quickly from MCP and my nails are growing so strong and long. (A first in my lifetime)

I have just started the bovine, but from what I can tell so far, the marine sourced seems higher quality.

@Starpolisher @Maestra1 @jpie @World Traveler @Valstybaby

I’m still confused, but I will keep on posting blurbs of what I’m reading just for awhile...

“The Myers Way® Paleo Protein is made from hydrolyzed beef that comes from happy, pasture raised cows that graze on fresh green fields in the sunshine. These animals are raised with love and care and never given unnecessary drugs such as antibiotics, arsenic based growth promoters, or hormones. They are grass-fed, and never fed GMO’s such as genetically modified corn and soy meal.

If the product is called “collagen” the protein has been hydroyzed into smaller units Amino acids and will often specify exactly which amino acids are contained.

Vital Proteins is a good powder to try. I also like Beauty Bursts chews.

Start slowly as as they can cause looser stools.

Re: Which Collagen Peptides are best? Andrew Lessman vs. Consult Beaute

Part of the problem with most collagen (including bone broth) is that it is desteoyed by stoach acid while still in yor stmoach and never makes it past the duodenum into the intestine, where it can be absorbed. Supposedly, the  powdered Coll Holla is micronized into such a fine powder, that it has a better chance of getting through to the intestine where it can be absorbed better by the body..

Re: Which Collagen Peptides are best? Andrew Lessman vs. Consult Beaute

My container of Andrew Lessman's Free Range Collagen product finally shipped today. I've only used his marine collagen, so I am eager to try this version. I'll report back once it gets here and I have had a chance to try it.
