Way too many to mention, some for hair, skin and nails, some for my arthritic knee, and some for overall good health.

Has your doctor ever checked your vitamin D levels? Mine didn't. All the blood work he requests always come back ok, but he missed this one.
I was scheduled for total knee replacement surgery last December. My surgeon sends his patients to a optimum team to get you ready for surgery.
It was there that I got my vitamin D levels tested. Normal is 29 or above. My level was only 12.
I was put on 50,000iu for seven days, then 4000iu a day. I don't beleive in taking vitamins or supplements just because.
I can honestly say I feel 200% better. I am fair and stay out of the sun....I burn. I had no idea I was so deficient. I try to void the sun.
You might want to ask your doctor to test your Vitamin D levels if you haven't been tested. 50% of Americans are deficient.
It is almost impossible to get enough Vitamin D from food.

I take Vit. B12 and D because lab work shows I am deficient.
I do not buy into the hype of OTC products as defense against colds, etc. My defense is staying out of crowds, washing my hands frequently, not touching my face, rinsing my toothbrush with peroxide daily, and using peroxide as a mouthwash.

@RedTop I never thought of rinsing my toothbrush with peroxide. Gotta add that to the list! Thanks!!

I take Zinc, Calcium with VD and magnesium. I am 68, good health no prescription meds, I am thankful for that.

I agree about the Vitamin D. My husband had his checked on a whim a few years ago. We go to a yearly community blood draw clinic and then we send the results to our doctor. His numbers were very low and was put on a high dose of VD for a while. Last time he was tested it back to normal.
His doctor never told him to have it checked!

@Franklinbell that's a good idea but if you have acid reflux or GERd please don't use it.

I take Vitamin D3, a multiple for women over 40, probiotics, and C. Two of these my family doctor suggested years ago.
