I've really, really been off this month.
Usually I do DVDs: T25, hip hop abs, Denise Austin etc

I used to be active and worked out every day. Then I had a bad eye surgery, and as a result, the now physical disability along with the feeling of being betrayed by my trusted optometrist (who I had always admired and respected) who recommended the surgeon, depression set in as my plans for my future were over. I really haven't worked out since. Just a tiny bit now and then, and farm work which isn't much right now. Two years, it is amazing how fast the body goes to pot. Everything sags. Yuk! Don't let it happen to you. - Bird
Sorry for those poorly constructed sentences. I don't have the patience to fix them.

I swim laps for 30-45 minutes, followed by 60 minutes of Hydro-Fit at least 3 days per week, and strength train 2 days per week. When the weather permits I also kayak, paddle board and hike. I do my best to eat healthy. I did give up playing hockey, but still go to open skate a couple times per week. I'm in better shape now in my early 50's than I was in high school, and weigh much less.

I work out with a trainer 2 days a week...he has a Cross Fit class right after my session and I get to stay...usually do that once a week (it's a killer!)
Then I do cardio for 3 days - one hour a day - usually the treadmill at 10-15% incline - that burns 700 calories an hour at 3.6 miles/hr. speed.
So that is 5 days on...two days off.
Plus I walk the dog - although with this weather, he doesn't want to go very far!

A physical therapist gave me some exercises to do at home.
I go to the gym for cardio and weights.
I walk - easy to do since I live in the City and walk everywhere!

I go to the gym and do the Arc Trainer for a mile and a half, three times a week. I also do sit-ups while I'm using my inversion table every day.
I also 'try' to eat healthy, and use a meal supplement once a day in a healthy smoothie.
Every day I try as hard as I can to do the right thing.
