@Zhillis, I am praying to St. Raphael for you.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

@karuna

Thanks so much for your continued support.  I do have a couple of people I can talk to and my Doctor is great.  I still feel alone.  Maybe because the ones I want to be there for me are not.

Just read the post by Zita.  It didn't help me but I know it is not her fault.  That is just what I am facing!  I mentioned that my daughter is changing jobs.  She is a DNP.  She finishes one on the 15 and starts the other Aug 1.  Maybe it will happen while she is off.  ALSO, she is on cloud 9  because she just found out she is gonna be a Nana!

My son promised to come see me this weekend.  That will help.  I know I will get through this...the support on this forum has certainly made it easier, but I am still frightened.  Maybe that is normal.  All my tests are done, so it is just a matter of the Surgical Suite being available and 3 surgeons being available at the same time!

Continue prayers for me.  Thank you.

@Zhills

Oh, the being in a crowded room and feeling lonely feeling ;p  I wish I didn't understand that feeling.

Not having the people you want or need around you, supporting you ***BINGO***. That makes sense to me.  I agree that makes it harder, sadder and lonely.  I'm so sorry.

Believe me, I really do understand not wanting to disrupt others lives with your needs, especially your children's.  You have raised responsible, successful children and you respect their work ethic.  Congrats to your daughter.  Congrats to you too. Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

Do what you feel is best, that's the most we human beings can do.  Feeling frightened I feel, is to be expected, but it sucks. I'd worry if you weren't.

Maybe your children will end up being available, or not.

I've been through the fear of waiting as well as the fear of  moving on/living with a very changed body.

When you are healing, we can talk more about all that is and will be right and good in your life.

Treat yourself with kindness during this high stress time.

I'll keep on popping in to check on you.  Enjoy your visit with your son.

And, I would not want to be working on coordinating all of those schedules...phew.

hugs
