Some of my latest, are to do with fasting and a couple to do with "wheat belly".
I'm really interested now in books to prevent, or help prevent Alzheimer's.
There's medical history in the family where I believe eating better or right, is better for us. So I'm really looking into it. I could live another 20 yrs (or not) but why not do what I can so as to not be a burden (or more of one) because of my own health that I can still do something about. Who knows if there'll be anyone to help me in later years, so this could be one of the best gifts I could give to myself. I intend to be proactive. It just is important enough to me, to take action on.
So what books are you reading to possibly help your own health?

Grain Brain by David Perlmutter, MD is a good one. Dr P has a show on some PBS channels right now. It is called BrainChange. You may be able to catch it.

Ditto this. Dr. Perlmutter writes a good deal about Alzheimer's and how grains affect our brain and general health.

This is more for mental health. I recently suggested someone hear read the book I'd read several times many years ago.
I decided to re-read it. I had to send away for it (I wanted the hard cover version).
The book is called ""My Mother Myself"" by Nancy Friday. It delves into Mother/Daughter relationships.
It is really (as they say) ""Food for thought"".

The Body Book - by Cameron Diaz.
It actually was very informative and well written.
I follow her advice to drink a liter of water (just chug it down) every morning when I wake up. It really is energizing.
