I keep seeing ads with celebrities saying to look for the Well Health Safety Seal before entering a bulding.  If I did that I wouldn't be entering any buildings.  I have never seen one of those seals in my area.  You?

This commercial bothers me. I do not at all like that celebs are telling people where they should shop.

That seal means nothing to me...if I want to go in a store and feel good about it I will go in....I don't need someone else or something else telling me what I need to do or how I should feel about a business......big brother is getting bigger.

Any commercial with a celebrity in it is telling you where to shop.  Not sure why this bothers you.

I see this commercial all the time.  To me it is one of the least offensive commercials out there.

Well that's why I do not watch commercials on TV. They all tell you what to buy. They have been as long as we've had television.

No actually celebs are usually telling what to buy not where to shop. And Robert Deniro is certainly not someone I take any advice from.

Notice they don't actually say what they do to achieve this Seal.  The standard could be very low, as far as we know.

Remember Dinah Shore from the fifties? 'See the USA in your Chevrolet'. She was telling you what to buy even in those days.

It comes across as some sort of PSA, but I think somebody is making a bundle off stoking fears.  It certainly doesn't tell you what that seal actually means, and how often the business has to prove they are meeting these nebulous requirements.

I'm not a big user of hand sanitizer, but I do keep a small bottle in my purse that I can spray on anything I might have any concerns about before using it.  I generally spray the table top when we sit down to eat unless it's obvious the table has been cleaned.  That's my safety seal.

It's just a public service announcement.
