Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

@bopper - I never got into the Lions....go figure!  I am a big Green Bay fan...they lost to the Vikings....my second fav NFL team last night.  I am a Michigan State alum and we beat Notre Dame.  I am also a 'Bama fan as coach Saban used to coach MSU.

@Iluvlucy - I used to wonder if tall people could use the reformer....and for that matter the total gym!

I did not feel like doing total gym, so did Pilates and the rebounder...it is hot and humid .....84.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

@MickD  You're a who fan?  That sentence is pure filth and vulgarity on this board.  We LSU alums have a big kitty going for whoever takes Saban out first.  I'm afraid I can't talk to you anymore if we are going to go there.  Mike the Tiger almost had a heart palpitation.

Although I did watch the MSU-ND game which was a good one until it wasn't.  My poor Irish down in flames for the second time this year.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

It's still hot and humid here.  Ugh, I want cool fall weather! I did a long workout tpday after a great week last week.

Lucy, lots of good wishes for DS. He has a lot on his plate right now. I hope you can find a good pet sitter. When my friend is gone for only a day, I tend to the collie, too, so she doesn't have to be boarded. But longer than that, she's happier being boarded because she gets lots of attention there. The cat, of course, is happier at home no matter what. I do like by chair. It works muscles surprisingly well. Just wish kitty would leave it alone so I could keep it out 24/7.

Laura, woohoo - lowest weight since HS! That's awesome. Yes, try going heavier with weights and doing fewer reps.  I bet that would make a difference. I aim for 10-12 reps, or 6-8 if I really want to hit it.

Bopper, more applesauce. Yum!

Mick, looks like you and Laura have a football rivalry going on, lol. I'm impartial when it comes to college ball.

@MickD  It's like I don't even know you anymore.

Saban to LSU fans = Benedict Arnold, possible close cousin to Hitler

How hot is he now?

I have to go take a shower as soon as I get off work just to clean myself from typing the man's name.

PS:  I gave you a heart and then took it back to simulate the heart being ripped from my chest with your posts.

@nomless  I'm going to try it!  The class is structured to music but I'm loading it up and seeing what I can do without hurting my back.  I also need to find my BG.  I forgot I had that lying around ever since I started on my ab routine.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Send good luck my way, please! For more than a year, I've been trying to get a part-time job at the library.  Tons of people want these jobs (like up to 400 applications for one job), and I've never gotten more than a "thank you for applying." Today, I got called for an interview next week. Yea!  I think this is my dream job, so think good thoughts for me!!!

Big 10?  I'm a Big 10 gal. And you will be, too, Laura, if you move it IA.
