Wake up everybody! A new day has arisen or is it has arose, lol. Anyway, it's here and we're all still in it. Windy, rainy and dreary though it is.
Listening to the news, I heard that there were 7 or 8 tornadoes in the last couple of days and people were killed so I won't complain.
On schedule for me today is my body & sculpt class and my flexibility class and maybe a few laps around the track.
Be good to yourself and others today.

Hello, same wet dreay weather here too and wind chill of 23 but I will not complain either. Hey does anyone know or realize the beautiful picture I started off May with is now gone. All it says is "Hello May" and the picture is a tiny square box and you can't click it or anything, it's just gone, I thought it was so pretty too.
Did an hour of Pilates this morning, not going outside, too cold and damp and windy.
I also heard about the tornados and terrible flooding, so we don't have it so bad now do we?
Hope your better Dr.Kelli, and MickD good job on the treadmill, nomless hope your day is going alright for you too! Lucy still thinking about you and the no AC and the flare and hope everything has settled down and your still looking at houses.
Have a good day everyone! ( I edited my Welcome to May and added back the picture but as you can see the little box is still there) Lets see if this disappears in a few days.)

Hi everyone--Hope the weather improves as the week goes on. We're expecting t-storms this afternoon, but at least it isn't a foot of snow.
I didn't take any cold meds yesterday or today and am not as congested, but still don't feel that great. I did my small group training today and managed to complain the entire time. My partner in crime told our trainer that between the two of us, she thinks I complain the most and he said oh noooo, I think it's a tie between you two. Today is just Kelli's day. Next week, it will probably be yours. I did have to laugh at that.

Hump Day! Sun is supposed to be out today, we had some crazy storms and wind the past couple of days..power was out. Hard to believe there are 4 states out west that still have over 2-feet on the ground and they haven't seen bare grounds since September.
Dr. Kelli...glad you're feeling better!
MickD...I thought of you when we toured one house. The grout was so clean you could have eaten off of it...lol! Seriously, house was spotless, made my heart go pitter-patter.
bopper...yes, still searching. Hard when you're not there to just go look at new listings. How is your dad? Sorry you're having crappy weather but I saw you had sun yesterday. I follow this dog on Instagram, never realized he was from Marquette until I saw under a picture a place you had mentioned before! Also thought he was a Westie(like the kids have) and he's a Cairn Terrier...haha!
nomless...that's good to hear your foot is better and your doctor visit paid off! Hard to know what to do sometimes.
Mssfoxxie...how's your husband doing on his diet? I hope I've finally gotten over the hump on mine(Mast Cell)...ugh. Can't eat anything! You'd be surprised what you can and can't eat...and the "can" list is very, very small. I spent the afternoon cooking up a bunch of vegatables that I can have. So tired of eggs, chicken, and watermelon.
Seems I have too much to say that is going on so I won't say anything...haha. Don't want another book.
Yesterday I did yoga, 4 on the treadmill, and took Lucy for a quick 2-miler, just had to get outside even though I'm not supposed to. No new hives afterwards though, just bugs crawling under my skin. Oh, then we walked to meet dh driving home and that was a mistake...could see the pollen blowing from the trees, looked like dust.
My reformer sled stuck in the up position on Sunday! Went up, couldn't come down. Took a while to get it unstuck too. Never has done it before, and hasn't done it since. DH tried to find what made it do that..thought maybe a part of the metal track was lifted a little but I didn't think so. Who knows, hope it was a fluke.
Barre, weights, and treadmill(ugh) today...probably a quick bike ride too. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everybody. Nice and sunny today but cold. I'll take it.
@Iluvlucy, as long as you make paragraphs like you do, I won't mind if you write a book, lol. Your posts are easy on the eyes.
Hubby's unique eating plan seems to be working well. He eats less and hardly any sweets but he still has a problem with veggies unless they are covered with a sauce. But he's lost over 20 lbs. I've lost about three and jealousy is eating me up, lol.
@nomless, are you still thinking about changing jobs?
@bopper, I've been meaning to ask about your dad, too. Hopefully, no news is good news.
Walking is the only thing on my Wednesday agenda. Still kind of sleepy. Until I got my Fitbit, I didn't realize how slacking in sleep I am. Last night was five hours but the night before was just a little over two hours. I haven't slept over five hours since I don't know when. Almost none of it is deep slip. Not sure why.
Have a great day group.

Hey everyone, it is sunny and much warmer than yesterday. Yes we had sun yesterday but it was soooo cold out and wind chill was like 23, today we are almost 60....Hooray for that.
Lucy thank you for asking about dad, he's holding his own now. We seem to have 2 good months and then the episodes start, seem to follow a patter . We researched and found out almost to a tee what he is experiencing too and it is all about the elderly and types of seizures and he fits almost all of the criteria. The meds cause bad side effects so its really hard to know what to do, he is 89 and already has some memory issues and balance issues and those are a couple of the side effects but when he's good he's really good. Still tries to walk about 2 miles a day, still drives ( that is scary) goes to camp, he cooks and shops so like I said when he's good he's really good. Not sure about your reformer carriage. I did use a silicone spray on my wheels and wiped down the rails with olive oil and my squeeking stopped but that wasnt' your issue. Hopefully it won't do it again. Glad your feeling better and hopefully find a house in the very near future. Not sure what dog you follow but that was cool!
foxxie hubby has done well, men always lose so much faster than women. I bet he is thrilled. I have trouble with veggi's too, just don't like anything. I think the country is sleep deprived, everyone has trouble sleeping it seems.
Nomless hows the week going? Hope your jewlery comes soon and you love it!
Dr.Kelli glad you are feeling better, hard to do a class when you are not 100% but you made it through!
MickD Spring cleaning still? You must have a spotless house!
Well lunch time and I'm starving. Did my grocery shopping this morning and picked up more baby stuff. I have a pretty good stash going so I can mail a big box when I am all set.
Have a great day everyone!

Did 2.5 mi/32 min on the treadmill.
Still cleaning...finished the pantry this am.....I really haven't deep cleaned since I messed my foot up......so the house needs it! DH said that he'd splurge for a once a month cleaning service....nice offer, but I can handle it. I just do a little bit every day.
Happy Hump Day everyone!!!

A quick note to you @bopper right now because in the morning, I will have forgotten, lol.
My mother had seizures and dementia for years before she passed away and she took a drug called Dilantin. The biggest side effect was lost of balance. She had to constantly get blood work done because it easily would build up in her body. I hope that's not what your father is taking. Too much would cause dizziness and loss of balance. Not enough caused seizures to resume.

Thank you Mmsfoxxie, no dad isn't actually on any medication because of the side effects. Thank you for saying this though, all the information we can gather helps.

Fun to read all the posts and see what everyone is up to.
Mick, I should be cleaning, too, but I'm just lazin' around reading a book.
Foxxie, I'm not putting a lot of effort into finding another job, but I do look at postings now and then. So far, jobs require more time than I'm willing to put in. This job is ok even though there's no fun to be had.....I'd rather have no fun than work more hours, lol.
Bopper, I hope your dad is ok.
Lucy, I hope your reformer glitch was just that, a one time only fluke.
Temps here are finally up a bit. Still rainy though.
Now that I'm used to the physical demands of my job and now that my foot is better, I need to start thinking about doing workouts on days I don't work. Maybe I'll start this weekend...or Monday, lol. We'll see. I have a physical in early June and would like to meet my goal of weighing less than I did last year. I've met that goal the past 8 years and want to do it again!
