Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hey guys...will swing by while I'm waiting for stuff in dryer to get a few moments of heat before I hang them up. I got in a few miles this morning in the midst of all this chaos and much to my surprise, I felt better running that I have...wondering if it's the antibiotics I'm on for my ear. Started laundry at 5 a.m.

Have a lot of running around to do today so needed to get up and get crackin'. I got home around 7 from the hospita( if memory serves me correctly) then I had to shower and do a few things around the house...then we got an offer on the house so were up until 11 dealing with that. When I got home the kids texted me that something happened with their mortgage approval because of the appraisal so I was dealing with that in between our realtor, the baby's mom, etc.

I was at hospital all day yesterday, they were supposed to do the MRI at 9:30, finally at 3, it was done. Keep in mind that he could not eat or even have a drink of water until it was finished so we had one unhappy 18 month old. We did A LOT of walking the halls, I pulled him in the wagon, I carried him, I galloped like a horse, sprinted like a bird, etc...haha...whatever it took to keep him occupied. MRI was clear...said it could happen again or it may not but they sent her home with medication for him if it does.

Appliances are being delivered today and I need to finish the yard-work while I'm there waiting for them....groceries, credit union, Verizon(phone broke), financial adviser's, post office, etc., in between all of that. Want everything done in case I have to go to PA, he still has a bad sore throat, but as of last night, he said he wasn't "completely sick". So we'll see what today holds.

Thanks for prayers guys!!! nomless....our one cat does the same thing to the other cat when she comes home from the vet. Won't go near her for a few days....odd.

Patty, I'm so glad that so far the little boy seems to be OK. Also good news that you have an offer on the house, but am so sorry the kids have run into a glitch. You have tons of stuff on your plate, and my prayers and good wishes are headed your way as you deal with tons of life stuff.

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi everyone!, checking in with 3 miles on the treadmill and some TG. Heading to a hair appt. and then my dads house and getting groceries. Hubby took DS's car to work so I have a car today.

Sun is out but it's in the 20's and very windy bringing the wind chill into the teens.

Nomless I don't mind you saying 80's...that's actually too hot for me. I don't pull out any capri's or sandals until probably June! That's iffy too! Haha

Pppmint wishing you a peaceful day even though your running errands. Sending prayers to little boy and DS and crossing my fingers house sells for you.

Laundry in washer now, hoping it finishes before I have to leave.

Enjoy the day!

Re: Welcome to the March Exercise Check In

Hi people!

I have been running off and on on the treadmill. Last week was a bugger and decided I was going to run on the trail...first time in months....okay here's the story...it's like 80 out....I don't care...I'm a stress ball....I jog slowly up the little trail hill...then faster jogging down....I see what looks to be a bike tire tread laying about a third of the way across the trail. I think - well that's odd I didn't see that 5 minutes ago when I started running up the hill....maybe I have heatstroke already....jogging jogging....leaped over said tread...snake! I stop... sweating..trying to whip out my phone to take a picture...the snake turns back to the side of the trail and his tail rattles....HOLY CR*P!!!! I slowly backed up and got out of there..no picture. I have never seen a snake layed out sunning itself...he was a good 20 incher...So today...i got back out there...I had to...to lessen the anxiety..no snakes....woohoo!

Patty ~ prayers to that wee-one and to your DS....i need to catch up on what I missed!

Mick, what an adventure...I would have freaked just seeing the snake let alone hearing the rattles. Be careful out there!

Bopper- aren't we lucky that we get to hang on to winter while everyone else has to deal with sunshine, capris, warm sunshine....I'm looking forward to teens and twenties! Right now 40 mph winds and snow squalls- just loving it!!! Patty- hope all is well. I can vouch for cranky kids that get bumped for tests! And cranky parents to go with them! Nomless- at least you are doing SOMETHING - more than I can say! Future- you are always busy! In spite of weather, all is well. I have no complaints! Enjoy your day!!
