cater! Love seeing you pop in here....thank-you so much. I'm good, yesterday was crazy. The dishwasher and the stove didn't work when they installed them. I go back to the store which is 30 minutes away(keep in mind I have been weeding, raking, sweating, spreading mulch, etc., so look like the wreck of the Hesperus), and they tell me they're going to charge us to pick them up....uh, I don't think so!

My phone went black, went to Verizon and he did a "hard-set" on it and said it was fine. Keep in mind I'm dealing with my dil trying to redo their mortgage paperwork(I also had to go to Credit Union, financial advisers, and DH's command for this in between everything else going on), getting phone calls from our Realtor about the counter-offer, and would you believe the baby's momma has the stomach flu now(it's going around here something fierce, nurses said they're beds have been full with dehydrated babies and they've all had it)! So wanted to get her some meals set up for her from the command, the church offered too when I talked to them. Anyway, my phone kept dying throughout the day and I didn't have time to get back to Verizon. So I'll have to go there again after CF.

DS is staying the same so I was texting with him last night and telling him he needs to call his doctor today.

I got a lot of yard-work done at the house yesterday but it was 80* and the sun and heat got to me a little(maybe from the antibiotics?), didn't feel good for a while but had to finish. Today we're in the 30's, windchill in the 20's! Over a 40* drop, and they said we won't get out of the 40's...kids are in the 20's.

Hi MickD...another pleasant surprise! I had that happen twice when I ran in Poway....one was laid out across the path I ran and wasn't moving! Stopped me dead in my tracks. Then we had it happen to us when we were hiking in Newport RI last year and Lucy was with us, that really scared me.

Have another busy day but not like yesterday. I looked at our WOD and do not want to go, it's one of those that looks so hard, I know it will be one that makes me not feel good. We have one gal in our class that is amazing...she was/is a gymnast and has been doing CF for 6 years.

Anyway, thanks ladies, means the world to me. Waving to everyone else!!

Update while I'm sitting here waiting for phone call. Son is sick, GI office said main thing right now is to find out if it's strep or some infection because if it is, that is bad news while on the meds that he's on. If it's viral, it will be easier to overcome.

DH is in his way up, since his Africa trip was cancelled, he decided to go up while I tie up loose ends here...like animals, house stuff, script refill, etc.

It's been another crazy day...I got packed thinking I was going up...20 texts and phone calls at one time, these new bifocals giving me a headache...seriously, I was about to start crying.

Now I'm thinking of all the things I should have sent up there with him...ay. Brain is failing me at an early age...well, earlier than I expected anyway.

Pppmint so sorry for all that is happening at your house. I hope the sore throat turns out to be viral then and they can treat him. Glad DH is going up though and you get things settled at home. Sending prayers up for all of you.

MickD I would totally freak at a snake. I mean I am terrified. I'll take Winters like we have anytime over hot and snakes...I mean we have garden snakes here occasionally but not what you have. I may complain that we're cold and snowy but I'll take that over a snake! Glad you were alright!

Patty, I'm glad DH is able to go to DS instead of Africa. Thinking of you with prayers.

Bopper, no more capris and sandals for now, LOL. It's back in the low 50's. That's still nice, i like cool crisp air.

No w/o yesterday, but I will do one tonight for sure.

Last update, I promise.

DS's rapid results strep test came back negative....his fever has broken and his vitals were good so he called DH and told him to turn around and go back home. They gave him a script for antibiotics just in case but he feels like he's getting better, said last night was rough. They told him it could come back though, lots of people have thought they were over it and it came back worse the next day and they aren't on 3 AI suppressing drugs.

They were actually surprised he didn't get worse and said it's pretty amazing he's getting better on his own.

Then I went into my phone ordeal. I ran to Verizon and they told me I needed to go to Apple so had to run back home...then had to drive to Apple store. They only go by appointments and said the next walk-in would be 3-hours. I wasn't sticking around so have to pray it doesn't go out until I get back. So I got a birthday gift, some INC pants, and a green smoothie....lol.

Now we're doing the counter-offer stuff with the house...I'm about ready to just give it to them...haha!

And I don't like my new bifocals...can't get used to them! I'm a mess....lol.

Patty, I'm so glad to hear DS is better. Prayers he continues to improve and that you get everything else sorted out. Cardio done, 60 min, close to but 4 sec off my PB on elliptical. Pretty good.

Hey! Trail run for 22 min./walked 40 min. Left foot kills....but that's okay I got it done. Saw two runners on the trail... Patty - glad to hear your son is getting better!

Hi, all! Sorry it's been a while. We've been pretty busy around these parts. The good news is there hasn't been any snow or ice for over a week. Spring has sprung! My bulbs are starting to come out, and I'm ready for there to be some blooms in my yard. Lets see...... on Monday I was going to go to the gym, but it was absolutely beautiful outside, so I did about 3 miles walking/jogging around the neighborhood, instead. Did the same on Tuesday, with hubby in tow. Yesterday we worked out in the yard for about an hour or so -- cutting/trimming branches, sweeping, pulling weeds, cleaning out beds, etc. My back is a little sore today, but I'll live. There was front that moved in and it's been cloudy and raining all day, so I think that might be contributing to it, as well. I'll probably take off tomorrow, and Saturday I have to miss spin, because hubby and I have plans with another couple. So, maybe I should do some pilates tomorrow before work. I actually haven't done that in a week or two, so that would be good to mix things up. Saturday hubby and I are hosting a birthday party for friends, so I'll be busy decorating and getting stuff ready for that most of the afternoon.

Mick- your snake story was scary! I do NOT DO SNAKES!!!! Bopper, hope you are enjoying your temps up there. It got a little bit warm for me the other day, with the sun shining on me. Patty, sorry about everything going on on your end. Prayers and try to get rest and relax when you get a minute or two. Glad DS is feeling a little better. Let's hope it keeps going that direction. Nomless, I laughed about your kitties getting upset about the scents being brought back to them after the vet. My pups always go together, so they smell the same. LOL! cater, glad you popped in. Hey all, treadmill and TG today using a different dvd.

Cold here for the next week, even snow flurries.

FUTURE I wish we would get Spring. Our yards are full of snow. No flower beds, no nothing! Probably May before we can do that.
