Happy.......it's still Sunday everyone!

Good morning everyone. Well, I’m been hoping for a good rain soaking and definitely got it this weekend. I didn’t go out at all. The grass needed it, though.
@bopper, that’s great, 22,000 steps. @MickD, girl, I would definitely find somewhere else to walk/run, lol. All I’d have to do is see that friend of yours once!
Rain or not, I’m going to my fitness center. Today’s agenda is Senior Cardio and Strength & Motion. Maybe some walking. Gained a pound last week, ugh!
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! Its supposed to start getting warm today. Quick check-in as I'm running a little late.
This morning I did a 2 mile walk with Leslie Sansone. Hoping my heel doesn't rebel too much.
Have a good Monday everyone!

Good morning, all! Gonna be another hot one here. I'm super busy again and SOMEONE (not me) scheduled a conference call at 11 today, so I will miss quick fit.
I talked to my mom last night, I think she is getting a bit nervous about tomorrow. Her surgery is very early--7:30, so I think that is a good thing. She will be in the hospital overnight and hopefully home on Wednesday morning.
I'm going to try to get a workout in tonight when I get home. I only walked the dogs yesterday morning because it was so hot yesterday afternoon. I don't get that option after work--they will drive me crazy until they get a walk.
Hope you all have a great day!

@DrKelli, your mom has every right to be nervous. I would be, too. I can’t even bring myself to schedule my colonoscopy and I’ve had at least three already. I’m sure that knowing that she has family support will get her to the surgery and through the surgery. I hope the surgery team is on schedule with their surgeries. Sometimes they give you a time and it gets delayed for hours. Then you get more nervous. God speed.

@DrKelli wrote:Skechers have no support. I use ASICS and put a 30$ orthotic recommended by my podiatrist. They are called power walk or power step. You can get them thru Amazon or at a drug store. I have PF in both feet and haven’t had a flare up in years since I started wearing them
Hi @DrKelli and thank you for the recommendation! I went to Amazon and there are inserts with both of these names LOL....could you let me know which one it is?? Thanks again

Hey everyone, it was in ghe 40's this morning and now it's 82 so I turned on the AC, I walked this morning and walked with Logan this afternoon on the trail.
MickD if I saw that I'd have a heart attack, I saw a grass snake by my shed and almost threw up!
Foxxie I hear ya, I need to schedule a colonscopopy too and am afraid to call. Hubby had his, and my insurance left me with over 700$ to pay on top of my dr. bill which is another 700$, I have no dental or eye coverage either. This is why I put things off, but I will put on my big girl pants and call, I know it's important and in the long run the other could be more costly.
Dr.Kelli prayers to your mom, please tell her all your friends here are pulling for her!
I need to get on my TG, I am just not feeling it right now. Between my stiff neck and shoulder knots, my hamstrings, am afraid to aggravate it more.
Going to dinner with girlfriends tonight to do some catch up so that should be fun. My sister is riding with me and is always late so I hope she doesn't get here too late, she can't be on time to save her life!
I heard the creepiest sound last night, sleeping with my window open, it was a scream and it was over and over and over, and it would go from a distance to close and back and forth. Well I finally figured out it was a Barn owl, I looked up the sounds and that's what it is. I have heard it before and it's so eery. I imagine he's hunting for rabbits and anything out at night but the sound is a scream, it's very eery.
Anyway, waving to you all!

Good morning all. Yesterday was cloudy but no more rain materialized.
@bopper, you’re reminding me that being over 65 is a good thing when it comes to insurance because (for now anyway) Medicare is great for my budget. Of course, you have to buy supplemental insurance to go with it and the price for that varies. And it goes up every year. In August or September, I’m sure I will see an increase. Then there is prescription drug insurance. It doesn’t cost that much but you have to check which one has your particular med at a decent price. If you take several meds like my husband does, you won’t win that game. My husband has to get some of his meds from the Vet Adm because prices tripled and quadrupled. We continue to stay ahead of the game of keeping the middle class down so far, lol.
Looking through my purple clothes in anticipation for my Canada trip next week, I find that I have no purple dress that fits anymore, lol. Not buying another purple thing, though.
This morning, I have Body & Sculpt, Flexibility and then Zumba. It’s going to be a great day! Enjoy!!
