Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

nomless...we watch a little here and there.  I haven't been watching much tv at all, even less than I usually watch.  I was reading at night instead of watching tv but now I can't seem to get back into reading since this flare(eyesight is blurry and I itch and ache).  I read a few good books though...Yellow Crocus and The Girl Who Came Home were two I really enjoyed.  I recall you enjoy a good book here and there.  Such a strange thing you went through with your job!

If I don't feel better than I do right now, we may not be going on vacation.  The kids wanted us to come up this weekend to celebrate(ds got accepted to GradSchool, big deal given all he's gone through to get here) and he's on-call so they can't come down, but I'm not feeling it at all and Lucy isn't feeling well either.  Not sure if she ate something or what but she won't eat which is not like her, she isn't one to have tummy issues.  Anyway, hoping these steroids kick in soon.  I've been on steroids for so many months, they want me off of them but I can't...when I try and taper down, I have another flare.  I have an appt with John's Hopkins in September so my summer isn't looking too good...that will be a full year I've been on the steroids. Smiley Sad

Judy...hope you get your tablet working and you're feeling better.  Laura...can you get a rental with your insurance??

I have no idea what I'll do today...dh is golfing later this morning with an old friend and a new one that he works with.  I know what I'm not doing...my bottom is sore from the bike!  TMI!  Have a great Friday everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

@Iluvlucy  I hope you feel better!

Well, I hiked it to work this morning and apparently I climbed 26 stairs according to Fitbit.  Smiley Very Happy  Actually I only climbed one set but the hills count as a lot more.  This is going to be so much fun for the next two weeks.  I am an idiot.

I can get a rental under my insurance but it's only 80% coverage and I just don't want anymore bills right now.  I stupidly decided to book a plane ticket instead of drive to Iowa a few weeks ago so now I have to go on that vacation which I know I will enjoy once I get there but that hotel money is now my deductible.  Smiley Sad

I'm perfecting my favorite Oliver Twist impression since I'll arrive with literally no spending money.   My poor rainy day savings account is beginning to look like the Sahara and my credit card is giving me nasty looks.  All this because I borrowed and returned self help and life improvement books from the library.  It it wasn't so ironically funny, I'd cry.

Have a great holiday everyone!
