Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, the sun was out this morning so I walked 5.5 miles outside.  It was 48 when I got up.  I saw the buffalo again and lots of people golfing.  A beautiful day here today.

Nomless I really got nothin too other than that.   Guess we're real exciting people Hahah ( speaking of myself)  Smiley Very Happy

Our group here has gotten very small hasn't it.  Oh well, we know we're doing out best.

Have a good day everyone!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, Bopper.  Yes, it's pretty quiet here.

You have long hard winters, but what lovely weather you have in the summer.  I'd love cool days and nights like you have in the summer.

Tonight I'll hit the ellliptical again.

Tomorrow will be house cleaning and a haircut first.  Tomorrow night, a friend and I are going to the baseball game.  We have a AAA farm team here.  Not quite as good as the big leagues, but not far worse.  It's fun to watch the kids play, trying their hardest to make it to the biggies.

Patty, lots of good wishes for you.  Know this is a busy time for you you and DH.

TGIF, of course!  Have a great weekend, everyone.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone!
I'm trying this out new forum out. I waited til I had time to figure it out. I have so much trouble with electronics that it is thought I have some aura that causes things to go wacky. I am on a first name basis with the IT guy at work. I am on the phone with him weekly- we do all of our charting electronically and have computers that we push around all day. I consistently have a problem.
Anyway,
Nomless- I am sorry your foot is still bothering you.
Bopper- I hope your neck is ok.
Patty- hope you are getting some sleep.
cater and canine- Hi!
We have had pretty good weather- some storm days here and there. I have been getting better at doing some workout but am getting walks in.
I am not gonna post long in case this does not work and I have to start over.
See ya soon?

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Tony, it's so good to see you again.   I'm happy to managed to find your way back.   Change is such a hassle, for sure.  Has your snow finally melted????  LOL.

I've had a busy day cleaning, laundry, changing sheets, hair cut.  I was ready to sit down for a bit when I remembered workout.  Ugh.  But I did it, the elliptical.   Now a shower and off to the ball game tonight.  It's hot and humid now.  I hope the temp drops a bit before game time.

Bopperr, Patty, hope you're having a good weekend.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi, it was a beautiful day yesterday.  In the 70's with a breeze and so far this morning the same.  Nomless yes we have harsh winters but summers are beautiful, short but beautiful!  Cool that you went to the Triple A baseball game.    My son got hit in the chest with a 95 mph pitch behind the plate..  Knocked him right over but he popped back up and the dr. checked him over and he is alright.   Thank googness for the chest protector but it still knocks the wind out of you.  Scared us half to death watching it on TV.

Tony glad to see you here.   It's been quiet.  It's just different now with this new system .

Hopefully more will join in, but give it some time.

Patty hoping your day goes good today and your weekend was fun for you.   We know you have lots going on so praying your family is good.

Not much on the agenda today.  BB at 1 pm to watch and then don't know what else.  Nascar too Tony!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi bopper

Just stopping in to say hi to and see how things are going for you. Lots of regulars I don't see on the BB Forums since these big changes. Won't go into that here as I have expressed my feelings in several of my other posts.

Hope all with you and yours is going well. Did see what you wrote about you son and assuming he plays a Catcher position. Those hits in thr chest can be very dangerous and some even deadly.

Glad he got up and seemed ok, but I would still keep an eye on it as a precaution.

A few hockey players over the decades have died from puck hits in the chest area. Goalies are the only ones that have much chest protection. Evev in the Pro's there is nothing but a jersey and a T-shirt there on most other positions played.

-Been doing ok here health wise. Nothing of a serious nature since last winter when my wife once again needed emergency surgery for a blocked small intestine. She retired in January and started her own "In-home " Pet Sitting business. She pretty much is also a House Sitter along with the pets. Been some jobs wherebi haven't even seen her for over a week depending on how far her job is from our home.--------Keep up the good work with your monthly Excercise Posts, and take care my friend.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi Everyone!
Bopper- summer is sure taking its time! At least it is nice enough to get outside. I had to work the w/e so missed the race but was glad to see Kyle win and Tony do better.
Nomless- funny you should ask- on Wednesday they showed the snow pile still hanging in in Boston.Tho it was 30 feet last month, it is a few inches high now. Funny to still hear about it. And Tuesday there were severe storm warnings- we had heavy rain and wind. There was a small tornado about 40 miles SE of us as they were covering the weather non-stop during the storm. But Saturday they reported that with that storm there was a small one about a mile from here. Totally missed us and we had no idea- it was near the mountain. Both were EF-0 so no big damage. Any animal stories?
Patty- hope all is well.
Hi canine and Hi! Cater.
Did laundry and some cleaning. And most importantly- had my coffee and caught up on my papers this morning! No workout in site.
See ya!
John- nice to meet you here. I have read many of your posts and you always have great advice. I hope you are feeling well.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Tony, at least it's a safe bet that snow will be gone before winter comes around again.   So funht that it's still there though...it's nearly July!   Thankful the tornado and storms didn't hit you.   No critter stories today.   So glad you keep on postin' even without workouts, lol.

Bopper and Patty, things ok there?

John, Bopper will be happy to here from you.  Glad to see you.

Elliptical done.  I have a new fave tv show....Battlebots.  I loved it in its first iteration years ago, and I still do.  Fun show.

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi everyone!

Hi John, so good to see you post.   I think of you often and glad to see you are doing well and your wife is too taking care of those pets!

My son is an umpire.   The dr. did check him out but it was very scary.  Are you still going to the rink?

The forums have really seemed to discourage people from posting.  It's hard even for me to keep this one going.   I still enjoy it though.

Doing lots of walking and using my Total Gym...things are good here.  Winter was brutal and long but we are finally getting more summer like days.  Not too hot though, which is fine by me.

I'm really glad you popped in here to say HI, keep up the good work and the good posting!

Take good care friend!

Re: Welcome to the June Exercise Thread

Hi,  today is the complete opposite of yesterday.   We're 48 degrees right now.   So while the majority of the country is dry and swealtering we are wet and cold.   Mosquito's are horrible too just to mention.

I did 4 miles on the treadmill and some free weights today.  Then had a hair appt. so got that done for another month.

John did you see my post....very happy you came over and said hi!

Tony is summer there yet?   I think we skipped summer, we in Fall now!

Nomless did you have a good day at work?  I hope your bike is fixed.

Patty hi and waving to you and your busy crew.  Waving to Lucy too!

Tomorrow is grocery day and other errands and Thursday I have another funeral.  I hope those stop soon.  To sad and to draining.

Well time for dinner, have a good rest of your night!
